We pledge to minimise waste generation and promote recycling in order to decrease our contribution to landfills. We will do this by:

  • Implementing a comprehensive waste management system to properly sort and dispose of all office waste;

  • Reducing paper usage through prioritising digital communication methods and electronic documentation;

  • Encouraging the re-use and recycling of materials used in roleplay situations whenever possible whilst adhering to medical guidelines.

Whilst are our actors render their services on a freelance basis, we remain committed to maintaining a working environment that ensures fair treatment and opportunities for all. We uphold fair practices by:

  • Establishing transparent and ethical relationships with our contractors and clients, ensuring they adhere to our sustainability values;

  • Setting clear Terms of Engagement between SimPatiCo UK Ltd, the Employment Business, our contractors and our clients;

  • Endeavouring to obtain suitable assignments for all of our roleplayers;

  • Ensuring our actors and employees receive fair compensation that meets or exceeds industry standards.

  • Providing equal opportunities for all employees and actors regardless of race, gender, age, or background;

  • Providing opportunities for professional development and ensuring a safe and respectful workplace whilst our actors are on assignment.

  1. Sustainability Targets

SimPatiCo UK Ltd is committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals

 

Our focus goals:

  • By the end of 2024, 70% of office paper products to be obtained from recycled or renewable sources and 100% by the end of 2025.

  • By the end of 2025, 95% of office waste will be recycled or reused.

  • We will reduce energy consumption at our work premises by 15%.

  • 80% of actors will travel to appointments using sustainable transport options.

  • We will have provided training and education to all our actors, including the promotion of awareness and understanding of sustainability principles, in order to better serve the medical community, the environment and wider society.

  • By the end of 2028 we will create a new course on managing staff conflict in order to promote a culture of wellness in our clients’ workplaces.

We pledge to adhere to all relevant environmental and social regulations and to transparently communicate our sustainability efforts to our stakeholders, including clients, employees, actors and other partners. Regular monitoring of our sustainability performance will enable  us to report on our progress, both internally and externally, to promote transparency and accountability.
